Bans Extended for Ramezić and Three Supervisory Board Members: Sarajevo International Airport Still Without Legal Management!

(Patria) - The Special Department of the Supreme Court of the Federation of BiH has extended the bans for Sanin Ramezić, Benjamin Mešak, Adnan Mahmutović, and Žan Matić, which were originally imposed on December 3, 2025.

All four have the status of suspects, and Mešak, Mahmutović, and Matić are prohibited from undertaking business activities or official duties as members of the Supervisory Board of JP Sarajevo International Airport, while Ramezić is prohibited from undertaking business activities or official duties as the acting director of Sarajevo Airport.

The suspects have been warned that violating the bans may result in detention.

The Government of the FBiH has still not untangled the situation with the Supervisory Board of MAS, nor has it appointed new members for the Supervisory Board to appoint a new acting director. This was done by the Airport Assembly through a decision of the FBiH Government, which is not the Assembly's jurisdiction.

The Municipal Court in Sarajevo refused to register the acting director Amadeo Mandić and set a deadline of February 14 for the submission of documents regarding the appointment of the management structure to the court.

Last week, the FBiH Government finally adopted the information from the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications, and the process of selecting new Supervisory Board members, or dismissing the three members under the bans, should now commence.
