Prnjavor: Electric shock kills worker while repairing storm damage

(Patria) - An Elektrokrajina worker died yesterday while repairing the aftermath of the storm in Prnjavor.

Initial unofficial information indicates he died from an electric shock.

The tragedy, as confirmed to Nezavisne novine, occurred in the locality of Otpočivaljka.

The news of the tragedy was posted on his Facebook profile by Darko Tomaš, the mayor of Prnjavor, who expressed condolences to the family of the deceased worker.

"I sincerely express condolences to the family of the deceased Elektrokrajina worker, who in recent days and nights, together with his colleagues, fought to repair the power grid destroyed by the storm," Tomaš stated.

Due to the severe storm that hit a large part of the RS, major problems also befell Prnjavor, whose residents were without electricity for days.
