All Border Crossings Temporarily Closed for Local Traffic Between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - Due to low morning temperatures, we draw attention to possible black ice.

"We highlight sections in mountainous areas, as well as bridges, viaducts and tunnel approaches. We draw drivers' attention to frequent landslides of earth or rocks on the roadway. On all road routes, we advise cautious driving and remind that possession of winter equipment is legally mandatory until April 15," was announced by BIHAMK.

Today, the start of rehabilitation works on the Buna-Tasovčići main road has been announced, due to which traffic will alternate on a single lane at the work site.

At the Bosanska Gradiška border crossing, there are long queues of freight vehicles at the entrance to our country.

Entry into Bosnia and Herzegovina is not allowed for foreign nationals, with exceptions for certain categories of people (healthcare workers, persons in need of medical treatment, cross-border workers, civil protection services and teams, members of NATO forces and other Partnership for Peace countries, as well as NATO headquarters in Bosnia and Herzegovina, persons with residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, persons in transit through Bosnia and Herzegovina without stopping, and persons who have been issued a permit by the Council of Ministers).

All border crossings for local traffic between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina are temporarily closed.

Serbia has closed border crossings towards Bosnia and Herzegovina for all crossings, except for goods traffic which takes place via the crossings: Karakaj, Vardište and Rača.

Entry into Croatia and Montenegro is allowed only for their citizens, foreigners with registered residence, and drivers of freight vehicles.

A complete ban on movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina is in effect from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

We appeal to drivers to travel within Bosnia and Herzegovina only in necessary situations and to adhere to coronavirus protection measures.
