Businesspeople from BiH satisfied with meetings with German importers

Representatives of 14 companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina held successful business meetings at a B2B event in Munich with German importers from related manufacturing sectors of mechanical engineering, metal processing industry, production of components for the automotive industry, as well as plastic and rubber processing, reports the Patria news agency.

The meetings were organized within the German initiative for finding suppliers in the Western Balkan countries. According to preliminary information, about 500 meetings were held at the B2B event between German companies and companies from the Western Balkan countries.

It is expected that all participants will equally benefit from this initiative for finding suppliers in the Western Balkan countries, and in this regard, serious results are expected in terms of concluding a large number of new deals that will improve the production and export activities of companies from BiH and other companies from the Balkan countries. The event was attended by a total of 260 participants: representatives of 96 companies from the Western Balkan countries, 23 companies from Germany, as well as a large number of political officials from Germany and the Western Balkan countries.

The German initiative for finding suppliers in the Western Balkan countries is implemented under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany (BMWi), within the joint organization of the Representation of German Business in BiH and other regional branches of German Business (AHK), as well as the German Association for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (BME e.V.).
