Three attackers of Belgrade residents apprehended, search for others underway

(Patria) - Three individuals have been apprehended in connection with the attack on Serbian citizens in Sarajevo. According to Istraga, the apprehended individuals are A.T., H.D., and E.B., all from Sarajevo.

The acting prosecutor will issue an order for the formal deprivation of liberty of the apprehended individuals in the coming hours.

The identification of other attackers is underway.

The incident began at the Sarajevo hotel Hills in Ilidža, and the attack continued in front of the hotel. One person from Belgrade sustained an injury with a sharp object and was released from the hospital after medical intervention. 

The attacked parents, who are accompanied by children at a football tournament, were visited by the Mayor of Sarajevo Benjamina Karić, who condemned the attack, as well as by the Prime Minister of KS Edin Forto, who stated that Sarajevo is an open city.

The Mayor confirmed that the Zvezdara team will remain until the end of the tournament regardless of the attack, as they believe that the authorities will do everything to ensure they feel safe.
