PRISHTINA ON HIGH ALERT Citizens demand death penalty for gang rape of a girl

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Thousands of Prishtina residents took to the city streets due to the case of the brutal rape of an 11-year-old girl in Kosovo, writes "Euro news".

Four arrested individuals have been remanded in custody for one month, and a decision regarding the fifth suspect is expected today.

Kosovo media report that the girl was raped from 5:30 PM to 12:30 AM in a city park.

Judging by the photos that appeared on social media, red paint was thrown at the seat of the Kosovo government and the Ministry of Justice.

Protesters are demanding the death penalty for the perpetrators of the crime.

One of the suspects for the rape is 26-year-old Ekrem Redžepi. His minor brother and three other minors have also been detained.
