(Patria) - Saudi Ambassador to the US, Princess Reema bint Bandar praised the bilateral relations between Washington and Riyadh as "the strongest ever", telling global investors that the Kingdom is their gateway to the Middle East, Al Arabiya reported.
- Saudi Arabia and US relations are the strongest ever today. While for many years they were built on energy and defense, today they are built on technology and innovation. They are built on relationships. They are built on business - said Princess Reema.
She spoke of her pride in the Kingdom's growing diplomatic role and American recognition of Saudi Arabia's efforts to support stability and peace.
- One of the first tasks given to us was to support this White House and the President (Trump) with Russia and Ukraine - emphasized Princess Reema.
Referring to Saudi Arabia's support in Syria and Gaza, she stated that Riyadh continues to advocate for a two-state solution and seeks an end to the war in Sudan.
- But no one can do this without the United States. And we are very, very proud to be aligned with the US in this foreign policy - stated Reema.
Speaking at the American Business Forum in Miami on Wednesday, she described the United States as a "gift", praising its diversity and opportunities.
- I'm not sure many Americans understand the blessings they have and the beauty of this country, and sometimes I wish you could see it the way I see it.
This country is a gift, and with the resources you have... your most incredible gift is your human capital, and that's how we feel about your country - emphasized Princess Reema.
Looking ahead, she said that Saudi Arabia wants to be an extension of the American ecosystem, not a standalone entity.
- We want to be that friend and that resource to the United States' ecosystem to help it thrive and develop. Because you can't do it alone, and we want to ensure that you win - she added.
She noted that cooperation with Saudi Arabia offers investors cheap land, easy access to energy, and labor.
Princess Reema also spoke about Miami's growing role as a hub for business and global engagement, describing the city as an "entryway to Latin America" and highlighting the cultural and economic similarities between the Middle East and Latin American regions.
- I would also say that the entryway to Latin America has made (Miami) one of the most attractive and interesting points for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - emphasized Princess Reema, adding that Riyadh has long foreseen the economic potential of South America.
