SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The handover ceremony of command duties at NATO HQ Sarajevo will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018, at 11:00 AM in the helicopter hangar, Camp Butmir.
Admiral James Foggo, Commander of Allied Joint Force Command Naples, invites all media representatives to attend this ceremony. Brigadier General Robert A. Huston (US Air Force) will hand over command, and Brigadier General Marti J. Bissell (US Army) will assume it.
Huston stated that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will maintain its presence, focus, and engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina to assist in implementing real reforms for the benefit of all citizens.
He noted that the commitment of NATO HQ Sarajevo to BiH is reflected in the continuous cooperation and support to the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces, with an emphasis on daily reform activities, all aimed at strengthening the key pillars of a democratic society.
