Film "The Wealth of Diversity" Shown: Let Our Differences Not Be a Stumbling Block

Under the patronage of the Humanity in Action BiH foundation, which deals with informal education of youth and has been operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina for many years with its headquarters in Sarajevo, the short film "The Wealth of Diversity" was made and shown on Tuesday at the Networks building.

The film was made by Emina Mušija from Kakanj, Nizama Hubljar from Donji Vakuf, Mirza Srna from Sarajevo, and Lejla Bašić from Bihać, and its goal was to present diversity in Sarajevo as a very positive thing.

- The main actors are young people from different backgrounds and completely different profiles with the same message. They talk about their experiences in the capital of BiH, how accepted they were (or not), and how they integrated into everyday life. Their opinions indicate that the true wealth and beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina lie precisely in this diversity, and this diversity should not divide us, but rather we should celebrate and cherish it.

The creators of the film state that through the film, they are trying to connect with BiH society and that people should and must live in a modern, prosperous, and free society where they can express their values and achievements regardless of the differences that surround us.

- In addition, we are trying to show that certain prerequisites need to be created in BiH so that we can strive towards one goal, which is for our differences not to be a stumbling block and an obstacle to cooperation, but rather for them to truly enrich us all.
