Reception at the BiH Embassy in Canada: Guests presented with the riches and beauties of BiH

The BiH Embassy in Ottawa organized a reception for diplomats, representatives of Canadian ministries and institutions, partner organizations, and BiH citizens on the occasion of the completion of renovation works on the embassy building, reports the Patria News Agency.  

The guests were addressed by the BiH Ambassador to Canada, Koviljka Špirić, who expressed her satisfaction with the presence of a large number of diplomats and representatives of Canadian institutions, as well as distinguished BiH-origin citizens of Canada.

She emphasized that they showed respect for the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all that the BiH Embassy does in Canada. Ambassador Špirić specifically thanked the embassy staff and everyone who contributed to the successful completion of the extensive renovation work, giving the embassy a representative appearance.

She also highlighted that the ties between BiH and Canada are exceptionally good and close, primarily thanks to the large BiH diaspora, which enjoys high prestige and respect in Canada. She informed the attendees that the City of Ottawa assembly has included the BiH Embassy building in its protected heritage sites.

During the reception, the tourist offer of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as its rich gastronomy and traditional music, were presented.
