Prijedor: 28-year-old arrested for sending threatening SMS messages to members of election committees

Police officers of the Criminal Police Sector of the Public Security Center Prijedor arrested D.K. (1988) from Prijedor, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of endangering safety, writes the Patria News Agency.

During the criminal processing of the suspect, police officers determined that he committed the criminal offense he is suspected of, by sending multiple threatening SMS messages from his mobile phone to the phone numbers of 14 presidents, vice-presidents, and members of the municipal election committee commissions in the area of Prijedor during the municipal elections.

Work is underway to document and complete the case, after which a report on the committed criminal offense and the perpetrator will be submitted to the District Public Prosecutor's Office Banja Luka, Prijedor Regional Office, it was announced from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska.
