19 years ago, funeral prayer was held for the murdered Bosniaks of Biljani near Ključ

19 years ago, on November 23, a funeral prayer was held for about 250 Bosniaks from the village of Biljani near Ključ, who were killed by the Serbian army in 1992.

The funeral prayer was held near the elementary school in Biljani, where most of the Bosniaks were killed at the beginning of the bloody conflict, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

It is estimated that more than 10,000 believers came to bid farewell to the remains of their loved ones, making it one of the largest funeral prayers ever in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the municipality of Ključ, July 10 is observed as the Day of Mourning, i.e., the day of the mass execution of civilians from this place.

The youngest victim of the crime in Biljani, committed by Serbian forces, is Amila Džaferagić, a three-month-old baby girl who was exhumed from the Lanište pit together with her mother, in her arms, tightly holding a bottle of milk, writes NAP.
