Saudi Arabia's oil sales revenue at a record low

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Saudi Arabia's revenue from crude oil and products such as diesel exports fell to $25.5 billion in October, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's statistics office announced, Bloomberg reports.

This is the lowest amount since February, reflecting the weakening global economy and high inflation that has hit the oil market, the media outlet assesses.

Nevertheless, the inflow of money from oil sales remains close to historical highs for Saudi Arabia, and it is on track this year to match, or even exceed, the record $337 billion earned in 2012.

Saudi Arabia is the second-largest oil producer in the world, right behind the United States and ahead of Russia.
