Indirect tax revenues up by 201 million KM

(Patria) - Indirect tax revenues in the first four months of 2019 amounted to 2 billion and 490 million KM, an increase of 201 million KM or 8.8% compared to the same period in 2018 when they amounted to 2 billion and 289 million KM. After the Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) refunded VAT to taxpayers in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the amount of 471 million KM, net collected revenues distributed to beneficiaries in the first four months of 2019, namely the state, entities, and Brčko District, amounted to 2 billion and 19 million KM.

"Thus, distributed revenues in 2019 are 155 million KM higher compared to revenues received from the Single Account by beneficiaries in the same period of 2018. For financing state institutions in the first four months of 2019, an amount of 245 million KM was distributed. In the table below, we present the total distributed funds to entities and Brčko District of BiH with corresponding external debt for the first four months of 2019 compared to the same period last year. All amounts are expressed in millions of KM," the UIO announced.

In addition to the distributed revenues in the table above, based on the special toll for highway construction and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 KM), the Federation of BiH received an additional 62.3 million KM, the Republika Srpska 41.2 million KM, and Brčko District 2.1 million KM. The difference represents a reserve on a special toll account in the amount of 0.25 KM.
