Indirect tax revenues up by 122 million KM

(Patria) - Indirect tax revenues in the first three months of 2019 amounted to 1 billion and 823 million KM, an increase of 122 million KM or 7.17% compared to the same period in 2018 when they amounted to 1 billion and 701 million KM.

In the first three months of 2019, the Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) returned 351 million KM to the economy, which is 32 million KM more than in the same period last year. Net collected revenues distributed to beneficiaries in the first three months of 2019, namely the state, entities, and Brčko District, amounted to 1 billion and 472 million KM, an increase of 90 million KM compared to the revenues received by beneficiaries from the Single Account in the same period of 2018.

An amount of 181 million KM was allocated for the financing of state institutions in the first three months of 2019. In addition to the distributed revenues in the table above, based on the special toll for highway construction and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 KM), the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an additional 46.2 million KM, the Republika Srpska 30.1 million KM, and the Brčko District 1.6 million KM. The difference represents a reserve in a special toll account of 0.25 KM.
