Indirect tax revenues in the first two months of 2022 are higher by 248 million KM

(Patria) - Indirect tax revenues in the first two months of 2022 amounted to 1 billion and 423 million KM, which is 248 million KM or 21.14% higher compared to the same period in 2021 when they amounted to 1 billion and 175 million KM.

In the first two months of 2022, the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina (UIO) returned 304 million KM to the economy, which is 78 million KM more compared to the same period last year.

Net collected revenues distributed to beneficiaries in the first two months of 2022, namely the state, entities, and Brčko District, amounted to 1 billion and 119 million KM, which is 170 million KM higher compared to the revenues received by beneficiaries from the Single Account for the same period in 2021.

For the financing of state institutions in the first two months of 2022, an amount of 301 million KM was distributed, identical to last year, 2021. All surplus indirect tax revenues ended up in the entity treasuries and with Brčko District. 

Based on the special toll for highway construction and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 KM), the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an additional 33.9 million KM, Republika Srpska 22.4 million KM, and Brčko District 1.1 million KM. The difference represents a reserve in a special toll account of 0.25 KM.
