SARAJEVO, (Patria) - One person has died, while 22 were injured when a bus overturned on the Leskovac-Niš highway in Serbia. The accident occurred this morning at 5:50 AM.
Portal Nova.rs reports that seven people were taken to the hospital in Niš this morning, two of whom are seriously injured.
One of the injured passengers is a 13-year-old boy, who was admitted with a stomach contusion. Additionally, an elderly man (69) sustained an open fracture of his arm and rib fractures. Surgery is ongoing.
Furthermore, 15 injured individuals were transported and treated at the General Hospital in Leskovac. Their condition is unknown.
The tour leader died at the scene of the accident, as this was a tourist bus from Sombor traveling from Greece.
Let us recall, the accident occurred this morning around 5:00 AM, when, for as yet unknown reasons, the bus overturned. Several medical teams participated in treating the injured.
