Scammers posing as salespeople

(Patria) - The Prijedor Police Department appeals to citizens to be cautious when visited by unknown persons offering massagers, clothing items, other products or services for sale, and not to let such persons into their homes, and in case of any suspicion of illegal activities, to inform the competent police station.

As stated in the press release from the Doboj Police Department, the Kozarska Dubica police station reported yesterday at around 1:45 PM that on the same day, in the village of Brekinja, municipality of Kozarska Dubica, two unknown female persons entered the yard of the family home of N.M. from Brekinja, and on that occasion offered the victim 200 KM in exchange for 300 kuna.

After that, one female person remained in the yard and talked to the victim, while the other female person took advantage of the victim's poor health condition, entered the house, and in the bedroom found and stole 700 KM, thereby committing the criminal offense of Theft.

Given that these criminal offenses have been recorded in the area of the Prijedor Police Department, where unknown persons, taking advantage of the owners' inattention, stole money and other valuables, the Prijedor Police Department once again appeals to citizens to be cautious when visited by unknown persons.
