Searches at multiple locations in TK: Large quantity of weapons and explosives found and seized

(Patria) - Police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Tuzla Canton (TK) conducted an operational action at several locations in the TK area in the previous two days.

This is an action carried out by the MUP TK in accordance with the orders of municipal courts, and based on the previously prepared Operational Plan for the implementation of joint measures and actions to prevent, detect, and identify perpetrators of criminal offenses.

The action was carried out at 11 locations and included persons of security interest in the areas of Tuzla, Lukavac, Srebrenik, Gračanica, and Gradačac.

Items related to the criminal offenses of "Illegal possession of weapons and explosives", "Grave theft", "Theft", "Illegal trade", and "Unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs" were found and temporarily seized.

A large quantity of weapons, ammunition, explosives, cigarettes, technical devices, and a certain amount of substances that visually resemble narcotic drugs (which have been submitted to the TK Prosecutor's Office for expert examination), as well as other items that may serve as evidence in later proceedings, were found and temporarily seized.

The TK Prosecutor's Office has been informed about the implemented activities, and after the completion of the cases and documentation of the criminal offenses, appropriate reports will be filed against several individuals.
