(Patria) - Police officers from the Criminal Police Sector and the Police Support Sector of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs Directorate, acting on orders from the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, have been conducting searches at multiple locations in the Sarajevo Canton since this morning. In cooperation with members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, searches are also being conducted in the Rudo area.
The operational-tactical operation "Overdose II" is being carried out under the supervision of a prosecutor from the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of documenting the criminal offenses of Organized Crime (Article 250 of the Criminal Code of BiH) in connection with Unauthorized Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs (Article 195, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of BiH).
The "Overdose II" operation is the result of operational work by police officers who analyzed data obtained by decrypting communications via the Sky application among suspected persons, and it is a continuation of the operational-tactical operation carried out in April of this year.
