Search also at Elektroprivreda: Esed Džananović arrested

Officers of the Federal Police Administration, acting on the order of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, are currently conducting a search at the building of Elektroprivreda BiH.

As N1 learns, Esed Džananović, executive director for distribution at Elektroprivreda BiH, Safet Bibić, a technician at UKCS, as well as Ramiz Karavdić and Nedžad Trako have been arrested.

By order and under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, officers of the Federal Police Administration deprived four persons of their liberty in the area of Zenica-Doboj, Tuzla and Sarajevo cantons.

- The persons deprived of liberty are suspected of having committed the criminal offenses of associating for the purpose of committing criminal offenses, receiving gifts or other forms of benefit, and receiving rewards or other forms of benefit for trading in influence - the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton announced.

Thus, they are suspected of having organized a group and, using their influence, employed persons in public companies, health and higher education institutions in the Federation by demanding and receiving money or other forms of benefit.  
 
Searches are underway at several locations in the area of Zenica-Doboj, Tuzla and Sarajevo cantons.
 
After criminal processing at the Federal Police Administration, the persons deprived of liberty will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton. After the acting prosecutor hears them, a decision on further measures will be made.
