Searches of Unis and Bioorganic companies in Sarajevo, two persons arrested

(Patria) - Acting on the order of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, police officers of the Department for Economic Crime and Anti-Corruption, Sector of Criminal Police of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, conducted a search of the premises of the legal entities "Unis" dd Sarajevo and "Bioorganic" doo Sarajevo, during which they found and temporarily seized items that may serve as evidence in criminal proceedings against several legal and natural persons suspected of committing the criminal offenses of "Associating for the purpose of committing criminal offenses" in connection with the criminal offenses of "Abuse of position or authority", as prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In addition to the searches carried out, due to suspicion that they committed the aforementioned criminal offenses, police officers deprived two persons of their liberty, namely: B.G., born in 1950 from Sarajevo, and K.T., born in 1959, also from Sarajevo.

After the completion of the criminal investigation, the suspect B.G. was handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, while K.T. was handed over to the detention facilities for persons deprived of liberty of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton. Police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, continue further work on documenting the committed criminal offenses.
