Predominantly wet August, traffic hindered by snow on some sections

In most of BiH this morning, traffic is moving on predominantly wet or damp roads, with moderate vehicle flow. On the Glamoč-Mlinište and Kupres-Bugojno sections, traffic is hindered due to snow, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Due to repair works on the M-18 Brod na Drini-GP Hum main road, traffic is being stopped several times during the day, for up to 30 minutes. Occasional half-hour traffic stops are also in effect on the R-442a Hadžići-Igman regional road (Crvene stijene location) from 08:00 to 16:00.

On other roads with altered traffic regimes, temporary traffic signs have been placed, and we highlight the main roads: Doboj-Gračanica, Jajce-Banja Luka, Tuzla-Bijeljina and Prozor-Jablanica. We warn drivers of possible landslides or rockfalls on the road, and we especially draw attention to the roads: Turbe-Karanovac, Bugojno-Novi Travnik and Sarajevo-Foča.

Due to the holding of the "Way of the Cross" event today from 13:30 to 17:00, traffic will be stopped on the M-6 Grude-Gorica main road (Bobanova Draga-Gorica section). During the stoppage, vehicles will be redirected to the R-421 Klobuk-Tihaljina-Sovići regional road.

On the A1 motorway (on the Zenica-Tarčin and Zvirovići-Bijača sections), traffic is flowing smoothly, on a locally damp road.

We advise drivers to drive cautiously and remind them that possession of winter equipment is legally mandatory until April 15.

At the Bosanska Gradiška border crossing, on entry into BiH, the wait is about 20 minutes, while at other border crossings, delays are currently no longer than 10 to 15 minutes. Due to the upcoming holidays, larger crowds are expected during the day at most border crossings.
