MOSTAR, (Patria) - 18 years after the initiation of proceedings and 25 years after the crime, the "Vranica" case has received a judicial epilogue.
The Cantonal Court in Mostar today delivered a guilty verdict against Mato Ančić and Erhard Poznić, while Ivan Škutor was acquitted of the charges. Mato Ančić and Erhard Poznić were each sentenced to one year in prison.
The verdict was delivered by Judge Marin Zadrić.
The fourth defendant in the "Vranica" case, Željko Džidić, has been at large in the Republic of Croatia since earlier. The proceedings against him have been separated, given that he fled to Croatia in 2011 and is still not available to the Bosnian prosecution authorities.
