SARAJevo, (Patria) - Democratic Front (DF) officials Andrija Mandić and Milan Knežević were sentenced to five years in prison each, while the driver of that political alliance, Mihailo Čađenović, was sentenced to one year and six months, the High Court in Podgorica decided, Montenegrin media report.
The heaviest sentence, for attempted terrorism on the day of the parliamentary elections in 2016, was handed down to Russian citizens Eduard Shishmakov and Vladimir Popov, for 15 and 12 years in prison, respectively.
Bratislav Dikić was sentenced to eight years, and Nemanja Ristić and Predrag Bogićević to seven years each. Branka Milić was sentenced to a three-year prison term, while Dragan Maksić was sentenced to one year and nine months. Srboljub Đorđević and Milan Dušić were sentenced to one year and six months each.
Kristina Hristić was sentenced to a one-year suspended sentence.
