Verdict for Dragan Glogovac for crimes in Zavidovići at the end of September

In its closing arguments, the defense requested that the Court of BiH acquit Dragan Glogovac of charges for crimes against civilians and prisoners of war in the Zavidovići area, and the Trial Chamber scheduled the verdict for September 26.

Lawyer Slobodan Cvjetić stated that he believes the Prosecutor's Office of BiH made a mistake by charging Glogovac with two criminal offenses – for crimes against civilians and prisoners of war.

The indictment charges Glogovac with inflicting severe physical and psychological pain on civilians and prisoners of war held in the basement of the Hunting Lodge "Franjo Herljević" in Kamenica (Zavidovići municipality) from June to the end of August 1992, along with other members of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS).

Glogovac's defense claims that he was not in Kamenica during the period specified in the indictment.

The Court will deliver the verdict on September 26, reported BIRN, as conveyed by Patria.
