Preporod Odžak preparing Eid packages for children from Syria

The Bosniak Cultural Community Preporod Odžak, the women's choir Đulizare, and Radio Preporod Odžak are inviting all associations and citizens of Odžak to join the campaign to collect aid for refugees from Syria and other countries, who are currently in a reception center in Serbia, reports the Patria News Agency.

In cooperation with the association „Hava“ from Donji Vakuf, the collected packages will be delivered to refugees for Kurban Bajram.

The packages for children will contain the following items:
- Hygiene products
- Non-melting sweets
- Clothing items, preferably new (socks, underwear, t-shirts, etc.)
- A toy

Gifts should be packed in a shoebox, marked as a package for a boy or a girl, and include a personal message from the sender.

Packages for adults will contain the following items:
- Hygiene products
- Canned food
- Clothing items, preferably new (socks, underwear, t-shirts, sweaters, skirts, trousers, etc.)

Packages for adults should also be packed in cardboard boxes.

Aid will be collected from 09/08/2015 to 09/15/2015, between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM, at the premises of BZK Preporod Odžak - Daščara, across from the cultural center in Odžak.

The specified period is set to ensure the packages can be delivered by 09/24/2015, the first day of Kurban Bajram.
