(Patria) - If you are a premium subscriber on the social network X, formerly Twitter, you can now hide your likes tab from the public, the company announced.
After enabling the option, the likes tab should completely disappear from the profiles of X Premium users.
You can turn on the new feature when you change your settings during the early access period.
This move is the latest appeal Musk's X is making to paying users. It is a continuation of X's galvanized efforts to attract more subscribers, considering that the company's advertising revenue in the US has fallen by 60 percent.
It is also a method by which premium subscribers can hide the fact that they like hateful tweets.

In the US, a premium subscription costs $8 per month, or $84 per year, which provides early access to new features and, of course, the blue checkmark.
Perhaps due to this addition, we will soon see a larger number of public figures and officials taking out premium subscriptions on X.
Historically, we have seen reasons for hiding likes in cases like that of politician Ted Cruz, who forgot that his likes were public when his account registered a 'check' on a pornographic clip in 2017, writes Engadget, as reported by tportal.
