SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Respected businessman Tomislav Grizelj, founder and owner of the company "Grizelj", passed away today in Sarajevo at the age of 69.
He directly participated in the gasification of the city of Sarajevo, and the construction and maintenance of machinery for the needs of ZOI'84.
During and after the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, he participated in emergency repairs and reconstruction of Sarajevo, as well as the entire BiH. In 1991, he was declared Manager of the Year of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he sponsored the Conference on the Reconstruction of Sarajevo in 1994, writes Oslobođenje.
He led a company that, with its own "know-how", launched production for thermal energy, gas technology, and water treatment and transport.
He is the author and co-author, and participated in the development of numerous standards, professional books, and publications in the field in which he operated, especially in environmental management.
He received the awards Manager of the Year of Sarajevo Canton in 2000, Federation of BiH in 1997 and 1999, Best Manager 2002 BiH, then Manager of the Decade 2002, and the City of Sarajevo's Sixth of April Award in 2005. Also, for a period, he was the president of the Employers' Association in FBiH.
