Davor Janjić, actor from the film 'Ovo malo duše', has passed away

(Patria) - Davor Janjić, one of the great Yugoslav and Sarajevo actors, passed away at the age of 54 in Belgrade.

He will be remembered for a number of brilliant roles, among which stand out roles in the films “Čaruga” by Rajko Grlić and “Ovo malo duše” by Ademir Kenović, where he played Nihad Halilović.

He is most remembered for the cult line from the film “Ovo malo duše” when he said: “A man, Senada, is a terrible beast. And the little soul he has, the devil gave him to make it harder for him.”

As reported by N1, numerous friends said their goodbyes to him on social networks.

Davor Janjić was one of the most talented young actors of the former Yugoslavia. He also had significant roles in the films “Pijetlov doručak”, “Ono malo duše”, “Život sa stričekom”, “Čaruga”, “Belle Epoque”, “Outsider”, and “Duhovi Sarajeva”, and he also acted in the films “Kuduz”, “Savršeni krug”, “Praznik u Sarajevu”.

He was born in Tuzla on November 18, 1969, and studied film acting at the Academy in Sarajevo in the Studio for Young Actors. He was a member of the open stage Obala Sarajevo and the youngest member of Atelje 212 in Belgrade.
