Actress and ASU professor Sanja Burić passed away

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Actress Sanja Burić passed away last night in Sarajevo at the age of 49 due to a stroke. 

Burić was born on March 10, 1973, in Sarajevo. She studied at the International Theatre School Jaques Lecoq in Paris, Cours Florent in Paris, and the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo.

In addition to being a full professor at ASU, Burić will also be remembered for the roles she played in numerous television and film productions: "Crna hronika", "Grbavica", "Dobro uštimani mrtvaci", "Viza za budućnost", "Kod amidže Idriza", "Na putu", "Teško je biti fin", "Ljeto u zlatnoj dolini", "Pun mjesec"...

She also had significant roles on the theatre stage, and worked at the National Theatre Sarajevo, Chamber Theatre 55, at the Obala Open Stage (ASU), at the Bosnian National Theatre Zenica, the Youth Theatre Sarajevo...
