Estonian Prime Minister: We have no 'Plan B' if Ukraine loses the war

(Patria) - Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas stated that Estonia has no "Plan B" if Ukraine loses the war.

- We should not give in to pessimism. Victory in Ukraine is not just about territory.

If Ukraine joins NATO, even without some territory, then it is a victory because it will be placed under the NATO umbrella - Kallas said in an interview with the BBC.

The Estonian government has allocated more than one percent of its GDP for military and financial aid to Ukraine.

- If every NATO country did that, Ukraine would win - Kallas believes.

Estonia, a small Baltic state that was once part of the Soviet Union, is convinced that Russian President Vladimir Putin, when the fighting in Ukraine stops, will turn his attention to the Baltics, demanding that countries like Estonia be returned under Moscow's control.
