(Patria) - MPs of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina supported the Bill on the Budget of Institutions of BiH and international obligations for 2021 in the first reading at today's session.
The Council of Ministers of BiH determined the Draft Budget at the end of March in the amount of 1.87 billion KM, which is about three percent more compared to the previous year. For servicing BiH's external debt, the budget envisages almost 844 million KM, or five percent more than in 2020.
The budget envisages 21.7 million KM for the fight against the pandemic, and the Council of Ministers of BiH will prescribe the beneficiaries, purpose, amount, and method of using these funds by special decisions.
Otherwise, state institutions are functioning based on the Decision on temporary financing for the third quarter of this year, which was made because this year's budget has not yet been adopted, and which now needs to be confirmed by both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH to enter into force.
