SARAJEVO, (Patria) – The session of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA will be held on June 7, and the last session was held on April 27.
Given that the adoption of the Budget of BiH institutions for 2022 is expected, scheduling the session only for June means either leaving room for an urgent session or that the authorities will not fulfill their obligations on time. The Council of Ministers of BiH has not yet received the Framework Budget Document or the Draft Budget of BiH institutions, although the deadline for securing financial resources for the implementation of elections is May 19. The Council of Ministers of BiH has the option to approve the necessary funds for the Central Election Commission in another way, but it is evident that there are obstructions from both HDZ BiH and SNSD cadres. The last resort is for the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt to impose the budget for 2022.
Several proposed amendments to the BiH Constitution, as well as the Bill on Amendments to the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by representatives Nermin Nikšić, Saša Magazinović, Nada Mladina, and Zukan Helez, will be on the agenda for the session scheduled for June 7.
Also on the agenda are several reports on efforts to reach consensus on numerous points.
