House of Representatives of FBiH: SDA, SBB and HDZ praised the budget rebalance and Fadil Novalić's Government

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Naša stranka MP Sabina Čudić stated that reducing funds for the fight against corruption is not a good solution.

"Too little, too late", that's how I would summarize the measures.

Osman Ćatić, President of the SDA Club, thanked everyone who has been working for a month to prevent the spread of the virus and the citizens for respecting the measures.

"Considering the overall situation, we can say that the FBiH Government has done a good thing and through procedures has made it known that it cares about the economy and jobs. It would have been good if it had been earlier, but we must know what our system is like. I think we have done well, unlike the environment in which we are celebrating. The SDA Club will support the budget rebalance," said Ćatić.

Azra Hadžić Bećirspahić, on behalf of the SBB Club, thanked the Government for its work.

"We will support the budget rebalance. My colleague Hamdija Abdić and I submitted two amendments concerning the remediation of damage due to the migrant crisis in Bihać and that the relocation of migrants is underway, with the FBiH Government as the guarantor. The second amendment relates to Bihać Airport, which was removed, and considering that it is the only project in Krajina, I would ask you to support the amendment, as the runway is already in the final phase," she added.

Hadžić Bećirspahić disagreed with the statement that the FBiH Government was late with its measures.

Marijan Klaić, President of the HDZ BiH Club, praised the FBiH Government for securing funds to mitigate the consequences of the coronavirus on the economy.

"We believe that our amendment is that cantonal and municipal authorities are most affected by the coronavirus, because healthcare and police are at the cantonal and municipal levels, which is why we believe it is necessary to provide additional assistance to these levels of government through the rebalance. The pandemic will result in reduced economic activity and thus a drop in revenue. The approach of lower levels of government to borrowing is difficult, so we consider it urgent to increase funds for other levels of government through transfers," said Klaić.

Nermin Muzur (Narod i pravda) stated that the state of emergency showed the condition of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"In the previous period, we tried not to have problems and to work for the benefit of the country. We neglected the fact of who is in power and who is in opposition. However, listening to the discussions and the explanation of the Prime Minister of FBiH regarding the budget rebalance, one can be for or against, criticize the Government and the like, but time will be the best judge of this," stated Muzur and said that if we compare ourselves to the region, we will realize that we were late.

He also pointed out poor crisis communication.
