House of Representatives of FBiH: Discussions concluded, voting on budget and other items on Wednesday

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The multi-hour discussion on the budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the next year concluded shortly after 5 PM. 

The discussion was marked by several types of debates. Certain representatives, regardless of party affiliation, insisted with local patriotism that their cantons were denied quality financial support through projects and other activities planned in the Budget. 

Representatives from Tuzla Canton particularly stood out, insisting on infrastructure projects and accusing the FBiH Government of neglecting this canton. 

Representatives from Una-Sana Canton were not far behind. What was a particular curiosity of the debate was the fact that HDZ representatives barely participated in the discussion on the Budget. 

Dozens of amendments were proposed to the Budget, which the FBiH Government will consider this evening, after the adjournment of the session. The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament commented after the discussion on the fact that most government representatives were not present at the session, where almost five billion KM is being entrusted to ministers. 

The review of the Bill on the Execution of the FBiH Budget for 2020, and the Proposal of the Decision on Granting Consent to the Financial Plan of the Federal Employment Service for 2020 and the projection of the plan for 2021 and 2022, and the Decision on the Execution of the Financial Plan of the Federal Employment Service for 2020 was concluded almost without discussion.

Discussions on the Proposal of the Decision on Granting Consent to the Financial Plan of the Health Insurance and Reinsurance Fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2020 and the decision on the method of execution of the Financial Plan of the Health Insurance and Reinsurance Fund of FBiH for 2020, as well as the Proposal of the Financial Plan - Budget of FERK for 2020 were also concluded.

Voting on all items of the ninth regular session is planned for the continuation scheduled for Wednesday. The continuation is scheduled for 10 AM.
