SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH continued. Representatives in the House of Representatives have come to a decision on amendments to the Budget for the next year.
The Government rejected four amendments by SDP BiH. The House of Representatives of FBiH did the same, rejecting all amendments. Among these amendments was one concerning the Parental House, but the representatives did not wish to support it.
The amendment by Nasiha Pozder (Our Party) was also rejected. Representatives rejected it as well. The same fate befell two amendments by Albin Muslić (SDP BiH).
Elvir Karajbić (SDP BiH) stated that the Rules of Procedure were violated because the Government wrote that most amendments were not technically correct.
“This is a humiliation that we cannot accept. The amendments are technically correct, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure. When the Government of FBiH rejects an amendment, it must provide a justification, not just write that most are technically incorrect. The Government is making fools of us,” Karajbić pointed out.
Karajbić’s two amendments also did not receive the support of the representatives. Ivan Boban’s (SDP BiH) amendment also received no support from either the Government or the House of Representatives of FBiH.
The amendment by several representatives, Čamdžić, Hasić, Grbić, Hrvić, also did not pass the vote.
Amer Obradović (Independent Bloc) proposed nine amendments, and the Government of FBiH rejected them. He withdrew eight, and the representatives made a decision on one. However, this amendment also did not receive support. Obradović then requested a roll-call vote, and the result was the same.
Given that the amendment concerned funds for co-financing the National Museum of BiH, a portion of the representatives from the majority parties (DF, SBB, SDA) also voted for it, but it was ultimately not adopted.
A vote was also held on the amendment by Lana Prlić (SDP BiH), but this amendment also did not receive support.
Irfan Čengić decided not to request a vote on his amendment, but emphasized that the Government’s justifications for rejecting amendments were shameful.
Six amendments by Sanela Klarić (Our Party) were also rejected. The amendment by Amela Kuskunović from Our Party also did not receive support. The President of the Our Party Club, Sabina Ćudić, proposed one amendment, but it also did not receive support.
Two amendments by Mile Milomirka Melank were not accepted by the Government of FBiH, and the proposer withdrew from voting on the amendments in the House of Representatives of FBiH.
The Government accepted the amendments from SDA, SBB, DF, and GS.
This amendment became an integral part of the budget, concerning an increase in transfers for Preporod, Prosvjeta, Napredak, and Humanitarna solidarnost (Humanitarian Solidarity) in the amount of 600,000 KM, while the allocation for the Film Fund increased from one million KM to about four million KM.
The Budget of FBiH for 2020 was adopted.
