Report of the Inquiry Committee Presented: There Are Grounds for Suspicion that David Dragičević Was Murdered

The Inquiry Committee, formed by a decision of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska on May 10, presented today a 320-page report on the case of David Dragičević.

In the conclusions of the Inquiry Committee, it is stated that they believe there are grounds for suspicion that David Dragičević was murdered, and they expect the Prosecutor's Office of Republika Srpska to issue an appropriate prosecutorial decision.

- We request the National Assembly to submit an initiative to the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council with the aim of determining the responsibility of prosecutors. We request the National Assembly of Republika Srpska to adopt amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code, so that the injured party can continue the proceedings on their own - is one of the conclusions.

The Chairman of the Committee, Branislav Borenović, stated that more than eight hundred questions were posed, answered by prosecutors, the police leadership, Minister of Interior Dragan Lukač, and medical expert Željko Karan.

- We demand that institutions, due to violations of procedures and rules, determine the responsibility of the Minister of Interior, the Director of the Police of Republika Srpska, the Head of the Administration for Organized and Serious Crime of the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska, and the Director of the Institute for Forensic Medicine of Republika Srpska, and make decisions on the dismissal of these individuals - said the President of the Inquiry Committee, Branislav Borenović.

The report will be submitted to the National Assembly of Republika Srpska for adoption.
