DF Presidency calls on Bevanda to stop obstructing the adoption of the 2022 Budget

(Patria) - The DF Presidency at today's session considered and analyzed the current political situation in the country. Regarding preparations for the upcoming General Elections, the election headquarters of the Democratic Front was also appointed.

The convening of a session of the party's Main Board on the topic of defining the final election strategy was also announced soon. The DF Presidency supports the legal decision of the Central Election Commission of BiH on calling the General Elections in October 2022.

We call on the state Minister of Finance (HDZ) to stop obstructing the adoption of the Budget of BiH institutions for 2022 in order to prevent the financing of the elections. The DF Presidency considers Dragan Čović's threats of so-called "territorial reorganization of BiH", if carried out under the organization and execution of HNS, as direct anti-Dayton actions. The DF Presidency believes that the behavior and statements of Zoran Milanović are a continuous, inappropriate, and unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Discriminatory, anti-European solutions based on additional ethnic divisions of the Election Law of BiH will not pass, no matter how much noise and insults towards officials from the Democratic Front are disseminated day after day. We will insist only on solutions that promote equal value of votes and the elimination of all forms of discrimination against our citizens," the statement said.

The DF Presidency calls on the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt to immediately suspend the decision of the local authorities in Bratunac regarding the so-called renovation of the Agricultural Cooperative in Kravica. This place is a mass grave site and the execution site of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide. This has been confirmed by the verdicts of both the Court of BiH and the Hague Tribunal. An attempt to remove traces of the crime of genocide in this way is uncivilized and unacceptable. State representative Vlatko Glavaš was appointed Vice-President of the Democratic Front today.
