SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Today, a regular session of the Presidency of the Democratic Front was held at the Party's Central Office, where the current political situation in BiH was analyzed, with a special focus on the processes of forming the government.
"The previously adopted stance that Bosnia and Herzegovina's path to NATO is not something to be negotiated was reiterated, and unequivocal support was given to the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, in insisting on the submission of the first Annual National Plan (ANP). The Democratic Front believes that it is necessary to unblock the work of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina as soon as possible, primarily by forming commissions so that the processes necessary for the functioning of the state can continue," stated the Democratic Front.
The stance was also expressed that the Movement for Social Justice and Democracy is a positive political platform on which the left's joint appearance in the 2020 Local Elections can and should be based, and that the Democratic Front will make additional efforts in this segment to ensure that the parties gathered in the Movement appear in the Local Elections on a joint platform.
The Democratic Front also calls on all pro-Bosnian political parties to appear united in Srebrenica in the 2020 Local Elections, considering that they owe it to the people of Srebrenica and that this is the only way they can achieve success, with the principle that the joint candidates should be people who live there.
