BiH Presidency Adopts Budget Law, Dodik Voted Against

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The BiH Presidency at today's extraordinary (telephone) session in Sarajevo adopted the Budget Law for this year, confirmed the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić for the media.

The law had been stalled in the BiH Presidency for months, which is why the Council of Ministers of BiH had adopted a decision on temporary financing for three-month periods in previous months. During the vote on the budget, Željko Komšić and member of the BiH Presidency Šefik Džaferović voted in favor, while Milorad Dodik, member of the Presidency, voted against this law.

The law will be sent to the parliamentary procedure for further adoption.

It is not yet known when the session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly will be held, nor whether there will be enough votes for the adoption of the Budget Law.
