Presidency of BiH Adopts Budget for 2020

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at an extraordinary session held today, adopted the Draft Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations for 2020. The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Zoran Tegeltija, also attended the session today. 

The Council of Ministers of BiH submitted the Draft Budget to the Presidency of BiH on June 23, although the deadline for its submission was May 31. The earlier proposal from the BiH Ministry of Finance and Treasury was returned for refinement due to the need for adjustments in light of the current coronavirus pandemic.

The BiH Minister of Finance and Treasury, Vjekoslav Bevanda (HDZBiH), explained that the Ministry determined the budget for the second time, but that the budget framework is as planned, with savings made wherever possible.
