BiH Presidency Demands Full Clarification of Terrorist Act in Zvornik

The BiH Presidency has adopted a stance on the terrorist attack on the public security station in Zvornik, which occurred on Monday evening, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

1. The BiH Presidency most strongly condemns last night's terrorist attack on the public security station in Zvornik.

2. The BiH Presidency expresses its deepest condolences to the family of Dragan Đurić, who was killed while performing his duties, and expresses hope for the swift recovery of Željko Gajić and Stevo Milovanović, who were wounded during this attack.

3. The BiH Presidency calls on the competent police and judicial authorities at all levels to urgently conduct a detailed investigation in mutual cooperation and coordination, with the aim of fully clarifying and establishing all circumstances of the committed criminal offense, including the motives for the attack, as well as any potential connection of other persons or accomplices in the commission of this criminal offense.

4. The BiH Presidency is of the stance that such attacks represent a threat to the security, constitutional order, and international position of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens.

5. The BiH Presidency demands that judicial, police, and intelligence-security agencies undertake all necessary activities and measures towards the prosecution and strictest sanctioning of all persons who advocate or prepare such criminal offenses, as well as all persons who are in any way connected to such criminal offenses.

6. The BiH Presidency calls on the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to remain calm and refrain from any activities that could lead to inter-ethnic or inter-religious provocations, incidents, and heightened tensions.
