The second round of presidential elections is being held in France today. The French are choosing between the right-wing Marine Le Pen and the banker Emmanuel Macron.
According to some polls, Macron, who won more votes than Le Pen in the first round of elections, has a greater chance of victory.
Polling stations opened at 8 AM local time.
Macron advocates for the values of the European Union and unity, while Le Pen conducted a purely anti-immigrant campaign, opposed the European Union, and hinted at the possibility of so-called Frexit.
The presidential race in France is being closely watched across Europe, precisely because of the anti-European campaign advocated by Le Pen, reports NAP.
Wikileaks posted 9 gigabytes of Macron's campaign data, which is said to include both real and fake documents.https://t.co/ib5V8qfsKs
