SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Presidential elections were held in Montenegro today. The polls were open from seven to 8 PM.
In the presidential elections in Montenegro, 60.5 percent of voters exercised their right to vote by 7 PM, according to data from the Center for Monitoring and Research.
Turnout breakdown by region: South 52.8, Center 66.5, North 60.8.
Almost identical estimates were given by the Center for Democratic Transition. Their data shows that the turnout by 7 PM was 60.6 percent. The State Election Commission did not formally receive reports of irregularities during election day, but they heard from media and non-governmental organizations that certain irregularities existed, announced the President of the State Election Commission, Nikola Mugoša.
The CDT previously announced that election day passed relatively peacefully, and the most significant irregularity relates to the interruption of voting due to a violent incident at a polling station in the village of Dubrovica, Savnik municipality, which is why voting at that polling station will be repeated.
