(Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office proposed one-month detention for Amar Zulić, Mirza Zulić, Vedad Dreca, Mirza Bajrić, and Davor Đurđević to the Sarajevo Cantonal Court, suspected of the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs. Detention was proposed for them due to the risk that the suspects might influence witnesses and repeat the criminal offense if released.
Amar Zulić is suspected of organizing a group for trafficking narcotic drugs, namely cannabis, amphetamine, and cocaine, in the Sarajevo Canton area from October 2024 to March 12, 2025. The group members are Vedad Dreca, Mirza Bajrić, Mirza Zulić, and Davor Đurđević, who are suspected of hiding the drugs together with the organizer in one of the sports betting shops in the Centar municipality. They hid the drugs in the area where the fire hydrant is located, in a coffee machine, and in a refrigerator. They arranged sales near the betting shop and simultaneously informed each other about the arrival of police officers.
During searches conducted in the Centar and Novi Grad areas, more than 400 grams of cocaine, more than 300 grams of marijuana, two pistols, ammunition, a digital scale, mobile phones, and cash in BAM and EUR currencies were found and seized. A Mercedes car was also seized.
The arrests were preceded by special investigative and other evidence-gathering actions by the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office in cooperation with investigators from the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Federal Agency for Management of Confiscated Property.
