SARAJEVO, (Patria) - After the suspects were brought in and questioned, the acting prosecutor will submit a proposal to the Court of BiH for detention for five individuals, as well as prohibition measures for one suspect.
Within the operation codenamed "Golden," an investigation is underway against several individuals for organized crime, illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, money laundering, and other related criminal offenses.
The case involves an organized criminal group that operated in the area of Bijeljina and other cities, and evidence obtained from decrypted Sky applications is being used in the case.
Significant international cooperation has been achieved within the case with partner institutions from abroad, including Germany and the USA.
The proposal for detention and prohibition measures will be submitted to the Court of BiH within the legal deadline, where a hearing is expected to be held based on the proposal, at which the prosecutor will explain in detail the reasons for the detention and prohibition measures.
