Lecture on the topic 'NATO Integrations of Bosnia and Herzegovina' at the Faculty of Administration

(Patria) - In the premises of the Faculty of Administration - an affiliated member of the University of Sarajevo, member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić held a lecture on the topic “NATO integrations of Bosnia and
Herzegovina”. Member of the BiH Presidency Komšić emphasized that the processes of joining the European Union and the NATO alliance represent integration imperatives and priorities in the legal, political, and security
future of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the lecture, he analyzed Bosnia and Herzegovina's integration path towards NATO, the current legal acts and decisions that must be respected, presented the accession criteria, and particularly emphasized the constitutional-legal, political, and economic
effects of accession.

In response to students' questions, the member of the BiH Presidency Komšić expressed a strong
political stance and will, as well as the unconditional commitment of our country to the NATO alliance, regardless of the challenges and disputes posed by certain foreign powers and the current member of the BiH Presidency
from Republika Srpska. He specifically stated that every level of government in BiH must adhere to its competencies, emphasizing that the competent state institutions have already made all the necessary decisions for
accession to the NATO alliance.

Prof. Dr. Munib Tahirović, Prof. Dr. Nezir Krčalo, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Merima Tanović expressed
special honor and gratitude to the member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić for his visit and his desire to contribute to the upbringing and education of new generations of youth and students with his experience. The hosts emphasized that his life and political biography confirm his undeniable patriotism and commitment to the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
