The Association of Camp Detainees of BiH will hold a protest rally on June 20 in front of the "Šejkovača" identification center in Sanski Most, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Several hundred camp detainees from the Sana river valley want to use this occasion to draw attention to the slow prosecution of criminals who, during the aggression against BiH in this part, as well as other parts of the country, killed thousands of innocent civilians, and who have not yet been held accountable for their crimes.

During the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Sana river valley, Serb aggressors took 15,000 Bosniak and Croat civilians to camps, killed 4,711 civilians, and expelled several tens of thousands of people to all corners of the world, writes the Patria news agency.

For the crimes committed in the three municipalities located in the Sana river valley: Prijedor, Ključ, and Sanski Most, the former President of Republika Srpska, Radovan Karadžić, and the Army of Republika Srpska General, Ratko Mladić, are being tried before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague. However, the Alliance of Camp Detainees of BiH warns that this is not enough. They demand that domestic authorities, as well as international organizations, become more involved in prosecuting criminals responsible for the deaths of thousands of people from these areas, as well as finding the thousands of Bosniaks from the Sana valley who are still listed as missing.

- Karadžić and Mladić are not the only ones responsible for the crimes. It is an entire chain of commanders and perpetrators of crimes. All of them must be held accountable for their misdeeds – warns Jasmin Mešković, president of the Alliance of Camp Detainees of BiH, for Patria.

- In the past few years, some things have moved forward. The Prosecutor's Office has launched some investigations, but it is still insufficient. Mass atrocities have occurred in these areas, which require a more extensive and serious investigation – he says.

Members of the Association of Camp Detainees USK "Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić", the Association of Camp Detainees "Omer Filipović" from Ključ, the Association of Camp Detainees Sanski Most, the Association of Camp Detainees "Prijedor 92", the Association of Camp Detainees "Kozarac", as well as the Association of Women from Prijedor "Izvor" will join the protest rally in Sanski Most, writes Patria.
