Cause of explosion at Natron-Hayat known

Following the explosion at the Natron-Hayat company in Maglaj on July 26, in which several workers were injured and one died from his injuries, the probable cause of the accident is known, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

The explosion occurred in the caustic boiler.

- After obtaining basic information, reviewing documentation, and inspecting the accident site, a court expert determined that the explosion was caused by the rupture of a boiler pipe, leading to water entering the boiler's combustion chamber, where it came into contact with molten material (high-temperature caustic soda) - stated the Prosecutor's Office of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.

After the accident, several workers were released for home treatment, while several were admitted to plastic surgery.
